CAN A WOMAN OVULATE MORE THAN ONCE

This topic is generated from one of the frequently asked questions

Can a woman ovulate more than once, as I have heard that a woman can see her period more than once.

NO NO NO!!!

No woman will ovulate more than once. Ovulation is once for the cycle in a month. Have you ever heard of a woman getting pregnant on Tuesday then again that following Tuesday, and again two weeks later on a Friday?  That is what it is like if you say a woman ovulates more than once.

Certainly not, the reason is because once a woman ovulates her body cannot release any more eggs for that cycle.

Ovulation is an event that may take place over approximately 24 hours but just once per cycle.

During those 24 hours one or more eggs may be released just in the case of twins but once ovulation has occurred it is impossible for a woman to release another egg until another cycle comes.

I will like to know if you have or knows anyone who has  ovulated more than once in a cycle.Share your experience with us.
