Nigeria with ZERO maternal death...ARE WE THERE YET?

As the sun trickles down, Nigeria loses about 2,300 under 5 and 145 women of child bearing age.
This has made the country the largest contributor to the maternal mortality rate, below the statistics lies the pain of human tragedy for thousands of families that lose their children.

Death from unwanted complications of pregnancies represents more that half of maternal death arising from poor mother care as well as infertility from complicated abortions. A woman's chance of dying from pregnancy is 1 in 10,  630 death out of every 100,000 live births, 99% of these deaths occur within the most disadvantaged population groups living in the poorest part of the country.

A Little visit to the rural and urban slums in Lagos describes the "needs" of the mothers been unmet. Individuals are tied with Myths, Ignorance and fear of the unknown. Denial of women reproductive right (unknown to women) seems to worsen poverty, as population increases, resources are also not enough to cater for all. (our Government dey try but pipu plenty)

Children are gift from God but not all gift are needed at the time, and when they are not, the case of insecurity becomes a problem because this kids are left under the bridge to grow and become wild, hurting  people without feeling of remorse.Lets stop before we are stopped...

Are you in a location that is densely populated, coming home at night seem to be a dreadful path that must be followed because of fear of getting attacked, are there people whose recreational activities is to make children with no one to cater for and this brings a source of concern to you? contraceptives can be made available to these women AT NO COST
