Lassa fever is still on ooo

Not completely over till we chase the rats away and not allow them escape...all this oke belgium (belgium rat) that have missed road.

it is Viral, mean say e no get cure. once you come in contact, we just help you manage the symptoms you have.

Lassa Fever has been existing for a long long time in borno state, Nigeria.

Now holl up, our environments are still clustered with dirts, right under our nose...mama put still fries her tomato very close to refuse and sewages and we still buy these food.

Yes we will once in a quarter come down with this deadly acute-febrile condition, if this sanitation are done haphazardly.

What to do;
As much as we all know what to do when they say keep your environment clean, we all still do not know how to always thoroughly wash our utensils, food items, fruits and vegetables.

What not to do:
when my father finds a rat at home by chance, the rat had better said its last prayers cos he will never let go till the rat is dead...but guess what, my dad will hold the rat by the tail and toss it up and down before us  with his bare hands....I mean without gloves, please do not try this Now.

Early Symptoms:
Slight fever, maybe off and on
Feeling tired and weak.

As disease progresses, the individual breaks down with
Bleeding from the gum, nose and ears
Vomitting
General body pain  (Chest, abdomen)
Hearing loss - very common and this becomes permanent
Death - eventually,

This can be thoroughly avoided by staying clean, cooking clean and blocking rats entries into the home, wash all spoons and plates very well before use. Lets keep our environment clean and report symptoms as soon as possible.
